C.M.A.S. 2 star instructor, PADI Instructor - Master Scuba Diver Trainer, HSA (Handicapped Scuba Association) Instructor, DAN Oxygen Provider Instructor, Equipment Repair Technician, NAUI Lifetime Instructor, IANTD Gas Blender Instructor, IANTD Technical Nitrox Instructor, IANTD Trimix Instructor, IANTD EANx Wreck Instructor, IANTD Instructor Trainer, Member of the International Board of Advisors for IANTD, and underwater videography and still photograpghy. Fabio spent 6 full seasons on Bikini Atoll as Head Divemaster.

This is a page dedicated to Fabio Amaral, who has been by far and away the most important asset to our tourism operation over the years. He resigned at the end of the 2001 season to pursue a career as an airline pilot back in the United States.

In 1995, while he worked for Robert Reimers Enterprises and Marshalls Dive Adventures, Fabio helped craft what would become one of the finest and safest diving operations in the Pacific region. Without his help, the people of Bikini are certain that our operation would never have succeeded.

The Travlin' Diver's Chapbook said in its 1999 edition: "Fabio Amaral is the consummate dive professional; technically competent and a people person. He insists on diving safely and enforces it."

Over the years we have gotten loads of e-mails and letters complementing us on our operation and on Fabio's abilities to make sure people had a good time and a safe experience while visiting Bikini.

The people of Bikini Atoll would like to thank Fabio for his friendship and for his dedication to his work.
